Katherine Phelps has spent her entire professional career in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Publishing in all forms is her passion.” As founder and Publisher of Atlanta Woman Magazine in 1991, (later sold to Leader Publications) she was able to share her mentoring and community relations efforts with the Small Business Administration, DECA, the Women of AT&T, Genesis Shelter and numerous other organizations and champion the causes of women in the workplace and in their roles as Philanthropists.

Katherine has owned and operated Beautiful Media for the past 25 years. Her company not only publishes books and magazines for the general public, but also provides social media services and complete marketing, branding and public relations services. Her latest magazine venture, “VIVA!” is dedicated to heralding the success of women from around the world. She is a single mother to 14 year-old Marise and has faced the challenges associated with raising a child with disabilities. Her motto: “If you are strong enough to dream it…you are strong enough to make your dreams a reality!”
